Dr. Theressa Kim Thomas is an experienced Education and Corporate Leader. While currently supporting federal contracts in IT development and planning training strategy, she also finds time to mentor and train trainers on instructional delivery.

 

Dr. Thomas’ career foundation began in public education with key contributions in grant writing, student learning, professional development, program development and procurement. She has served with two school districts managing thousands of students and teachers as an Instructional Supervisor, Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, and Teacher.

 

Dr. Thomas began her work as a federal contractor in 2011 while working on projects in the Department of Defense, Department of Veteran of Affairs, and Health and Human Services. She has worked as an IT consultant providing full capability in testing, documentation, requirements, training and program management.

 

Her educational background begins with a Bachelor of Science from Howard University, receiving a Master’s degree from George Washington University, and completing a Doctorate of Education in Instructional Technology and Distance Education from Nova Southeastern University.

 

Dr. Thomas is effective in assessing needs to improve processes and build relationships. Dr. Thomas provides strength in directing and implementing programs on time and within budget, while fully possessing an ability to build teamwork across disciplines and inside of organizations.
